Flood City Music Festival

This was my first time working a whole festival and it was a blast. The Flood City Music Festival takes place yearly in Johnstown PA and hosts a variety of touring bands from around the US. Over four days, as L1 (Light Tech 1) I busked lighting live using the MagicQ console. Spending the time with the rest of the tech crew was so much fun as well, it felt like everyone was in it together working long hours toward the same goals.

I did this for around seven bands who performed at the Pavilion Stage during the festival which included Solar Circuit, The Nth Power and Deadtronica. It was lovely working with them and I had a challenge busking along to a variety of genres of music, each came with it’s own challenges.
